De Jungle Dome is exactly what the name suggests. It is a Jungle under a dome.
Normally we would say that the Aqua Mundo is the highlight of your Center Parcs holiday park, but at Centerparcs het Heijderbos the Jungle Dome is absolutely the biggest high light of the park.
In this Jungle Dome, children can climb and scramble, walk over stones through the water and admire beautiful birds up close.
And the parents? They can sit comfortably on the terrace at the Jungle Dome, where you can enjoy a snack and a drink.
Children can enjoy themselves for hours in this Jungle Dome.
What is also fun to do is dine in the Jungle Dome. Here you can book a barbecue and eat in the Jungle with the sound of the birds and the waterfall in the background. At that time, the Jungle Dome is only open for guests who dine here, which makes the atmosphere really great during dinner.
Don't want to let go of that jungle feeling at all? Then you can even sleep in this Jungle Dome and wake up with the Jungle sounds.
One of the main attractions of the Center Parcs bungalow parks are the large subtropical swimming pools, the Aqua Mundos. Also at Center Parcs het Heijderbos there is a big and very cool Aqua Mundo in the middle of the park. Where day trippers pay a lot of money to be able to swim here, when you stay at the park you can make unlimited use of the Aqua Mundo.
The Aqua Mundo has several slides and of course also a wild water course. The wild water course at Center Parcs het Heijderbos is quite tough. Especially the end of this wild water course may be a bit exciting, especially for small kids. So be sure to try this wild water course yourself before you decide to go in with small kids.
The Aqua Mundo at Center Parcs het Heijderbos has various slides for both older and smaller children. For the little ones there is a baby pool and a water playground. And there is also a playground for the larger toddlers and preschoolers.
And of course the Aqua Mundo of Center Parcs het Heijderbos also has a wave pool, an outdoor pool and you can relax in the bubble bath.

There is plenty to do indoors at Center Parcs het Heijderbos. The Aqua Mundo and the Jungle Dome provide hours of fun and entertainment for the children. Center Parcs het Heijderbos is therefore one of the nicest Center Parcs to visit in the winter or when the weather is not so good.
But that doesn't mean there isn't plenty to do outside. We must honestly say that we visited Center Parcs het Heijderbos 2 times with bad weather and we mostly entertained ourselves with all the indoor activities.
So we don't have any experience with the outdoor activities. But that doesn't mean there is not enough to do.
For example, Center Parcs het Heijderbos has a large lake on which you can go pedal boating or rent an electric boat. There is an exciting Zip Wire trail with an elevator up. You can play paintball or climb. And also archery, cycling, adventure golf and horse riding are all activitities you can on this bungalow park. And of course there is the petting zoo, which is always a hit with children.
Is there more to do at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos? Of course there is more to do. It is a Center Parcs bungalow park, so there is much more to do. We have already mentioned many activities above, but indeed there is more. There is an Escape Room, a bowling alley, an indoor mini golf course, a tennis court, a squash court, an indoor climbing paradise and much more.
In short, there is no time to be bored at Center Parcs het Heijderbos.
The Marketdome is also really something that belongs to the Center Parcs parks. And so also at Center Parcs het Heijderbos you will find the Market Dome completely in Jungle atmosphere.
The tropical feeling immediately meets you when you walk into the Marketdome. And the cozy terrace is very inviting to sit down for a snack or a drink.
In the Marketdome you will find the supermarket, a clothing and souvenir shop, the snack bar and several restaurants. Everything is collected in this Marketdome, which really makes this Marketdome the central center of the Heijderbos holiday park.
You can also come here in the evening for the animation show for both the children and the later show for everyone.
Eating at Center Parcs het Heijderbos I Delicious food at one of the themed restaurants
At Center Parcs you will find the same restaurants at most bungalow parks. You will also find these same restaurants at Center Parcs het Heijderbos.
The restaurants of Center Parcs are all good restaurants. Whichever restaurant you choose to eat at, you won't regret it. We have two favorites, Fuego Adventure Grill and Nonna's Family Pizza.
At Fuego Adventure Grill they fully respond to the Indiana Jones feeling. Here, the children can also do a fun treasure hunt in the restaurant, so that they do not get bored while eating.
At Nonna's Family Pizza e Pasta, eating at di Mamma in Italy is the theme. where the service all talk with a funny Italian accent. The staff here are so good at their job and really make you feel at home and really give you that Italian feeling.
Then there is also the Evergreens restaurant; a buffet restaurant with an all you can eat concept. Here you can enjoy both breakfast and dinner.
The Grand Café is the large terrace in the middle of the Market Dome. Here you can order simple dishes and tapas. But simple does not mean simple in taste, because everything is tasty. Moreover, it is wonderful to sit in the middle of the tropical garden of the Market Dome.
If you just want something simple, you can also eat at the snack bar; French affairs. Here you can also pick up fries and snacks and enjoy them at your own bungalow.
But Center Parcs het Heijderbos also has other options in terms of food, which you do not have at other Center Parcs holiday parks. You can also eat here at Pancakes Pancakes is located outside the Market Dome, at the rear. Here you can order delicious, luxurious pancakes with a beautiful view over the water. Definitely recommended.
And the best part is the BBQ they organize in the Jungle Dome. Super nice atmosphere and the food is delicious.
Don't want to eat out at all? Well you don't have too. The different restaurants at Center Parcs het Heijderbos are not cheap and eating out every night is a big bite out of your holiday budget.
The bungalows at Center Parcs de Kempervennen all have a kitchen where you can prepare a delicious meal yourself. The supermarket has just about everything that a normal supermarket also has and here you can really buy everything to cook in your own bungalow.
Center Parcs het Heijderbos I Animation for the whole family
There are more than enough activities at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos to keep you entertained for a few weeks. But it doesn't stop there.
Because in addition to all activities, Center Parcs het Heijderbos also has an entertainment program.
For children, Rory and his friends play the leading role in this animation program. Meet and greets, game shows and shows are planned throughout the day with these Center Parcs characters.
But there is also an animation program for adults. In the evening you can enjoy live music, quizzes and other shows. Is it all high quality? Maybe not. But that is not necessary with an animation program at a holiday park, it is mainly entertaining.

We slept in a Premium Cottage.
It took several years, but now all the houses have been modernised at Centerparcs het Heijderbos.
The cottages are fresh and light in color and have all the facilities you could wish for during a holiday at a Center Parcs bungalow park.
The living room is spacious and light and has a nice sofa to sit on. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom is spacious and bright. And the bedrooms have good beds and fine bedding.
There is actually nothing to criticize about the cottages of Center Parcs het Heijderbos. We really enjoyed our holiday at Center Parcs Het Heiderbos.
